Terry Savage, the former chairman of the Cannes Lions Festival of creativity, has taken up a consultancy role for Dentsu, working with Dentsu brand agencies worldwide.

Savage, who departed the Cannes role in June last year, told CB: “I have known [global and APAC president for Dentsu creative agencies] Dick Van Mottman [pictured left with Savage] and the power and vision of Dentsu for a number of years – to have the chance to consult with them on the creative future is exciting at a time when creativity is as important, if not more important, than ever.”

Savage had been associated with Cannes Lions for 33 years, initially as the representative for Australia when he was CEO of Val Morgan Cinema Advertising, then as CEO of Cannes, and for the last decade as Chairman.
