Chemical company BASF appoints Tracta as creative and strategic agency in Australia + NZ

Global chemical company BASF has appointed full service specialist agribusiness agency Tracta as the creative and strategic lead for its Australia and New Zealand agricultural solutions business. The decision was made following a pitch process undertaken in late 2018.

Says Andy Walker, managing director, Tracta: “There was a high degree of understanding between BASF and Tracta throughout the entire pitch process. I believe this shared understanding was key to our success, supported by our depth of knowledge and experience in the agribusiness sector.”

Says Gavin Jackson, head of agricultural solutions, BASF Australia and New Zealand: “We’re looking forward to working with Tracta to continue to grow our portfolio presence across Australia and New Zealand. They’ll also support our pipeline of new products coming to market, which includes three blockbuster herbicides.”

This latest appointment extends Tracta’s footprint through Australasia and is a welcome addition to the Hawke’s Bay based agency’s client portfolio, that includes John Deere, Vodafone, Farmside, DataMars (formerly Tru-Test in NZ), and Tatua.
