Six entries from New Zealand make the cut at the shortlist stage of the 23rd Annual Webby Awards

The nominees for The 23rd Annual Webby Awards have been announced and New Zealand has picked up six nominees led by Colenso BBDO with two finalists.

 

Colenso BBDO has been nominated for Spark ‘Kupu’ and Pedigree ‘SelfieSTIX’.

Other Kiwi nominees include Assembly and FCB NZ for ‘Oat the Goat’, Ogilvy NZ for New Zealand Police ‘Question a Cop’, DDB NZ for The Warehouse ‘Scrabble for Pav’ and True for ‘Cheers Sober Self Chatbot’.

The 23rd Annual Webby Awards will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The Webby Awards is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, Video, Advertising, Media & PR, Apps, Mobile, and Voice, Social, Podcasts, and Games. Established in 1996, this year’s Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 70 countries worldwide this year. The Webby Awards is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).
