Google New Zealand promotes Susan Carlton to the newly created position of marketing manager

Google New Zealand is investing further in its local team by appointing Susan Carlton into the newly created position of marketing manager, where she is responsible for leading Google’s engagement with partners and the industry to support the vibrant digital ecosystem in NZ.

Most recently, Carlton has held the position of industry manager for travel and entertainment within Google New Zealand, responsible for driving growth of New Zealand businesses locally and globally.

Originally hailing from Los Angeles, and a veteran of the music and entertainment industry, Carlton moved to New Zealand over a decade ago. She has worked across sales and marketing at Yahoo! NZ, MySpace and Fox Interactive Media, and Pukeko Pictures before joining Google in 2014.

Says Carlton: “I’m so excited for this new opportunity within Google, and to further connect with our key industry partners locally. I’m looking forward to exploring new ways to bring the magic of Google to businesses throughout New Zealand.”
