BCG2 boosts digital ranks with two hires; snares former Colenso copywriter Joel Francis; Jess Dearsley joins as digital account executive
Boosting BCG2’s digital ranks are two new hires, Joel Francis and Jess Dearsley.
Francis joins the BCG2 creative department as a copywriter and digital specialist, working across all the agency’s clients. Francis made a move from Colenso BBDO where he’s spent the last five years.
Says James Blackwood, CEO and ECD at BCG2: “I’ve had my eye on Joel ever since I saw him play guitar at BOTAB. He will be a great asset to the agency band. And of course our creative team and clients.”
Dearsley joins as digital account executive fresh from her previous role as digital content producer for Roadtrippers, a web-based and mobile app to help travellers plan road trips in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Also with a musical bent, when she’s not working, you’ll find her DJ’ing around town.
