Briscoes celebrates its long relationship with New Zealanders in new campaign via Stanley St.

Briscoes has taken its ownership of ‘you’ll never buy better’ a step further in a new brand ad via Stanley St. that celebrates its long relationship with New Zealanders.

The 45 second film from Stanley St. highlights the huge part Briscoes has played over the years in making the lives of Kiwis better. The celebrations, the birthdays, holidays, summer and winter nights. You name it, Briscoes have always been there.

Which is why the time seemed right to talk about what really matters – our customers.

Says Brooke Wiley and Josh Foley, creatives at Stanley St.: “As well as the core brand loyalists, more and more millennials are shopping with Briscoes and we needed a tone, feel and voice that reflected that. We wanted to acknowledge that we’re all human and life isn’t always perfect but that the good outweighs the bad.”

Says Kim Ellison, creative director, Stanley St.: “What’s really poignant about this idea, are the moments that all of us can relate to. I’m sure people will definitely recognise one or two scenarios from their own lives.”

Stanley St. worked directly with director Josh Frizzell to bring the campaign to life and both client and agency are thrilled with the result.

Says Fiona Stewart, GM of marketing, Briscoes: “This is a huge leap for Briscoes and it’s been an absolute pleasure to go on this journey together and continue it into the future.”

Adds Wiley and Foley: “We really thank Briscoes for their trust and totally letting the other Josh (Frizzell) do his thing – which he has definitely done.”

Says Regan Grafton, chief creative officer, Stanley St.: “This is a real step change for Briscoes. As Stanley Street embarks on its new journey, so does Briscoes, and I look forward to seeing where we both go together.”
