InterCity, New Zealand’s largest passenger transport network, has launched its first brand campaign with new work developed with Special Group.

The campaign is spearheaded by a 60 second film that tells the story of a special long distance reunion starring Brian the bear, while along the way showcasing the great customer experience offered by InterCity’s state of the art modern fleet of buses.

Says Daniel Rode, general manager digital and brand for Entrada Travel Group, the parent company of InterCity: “InterCity has been bringing Kiwis together over 30 years – travelling to 600 destinations around the country. This new campaign brings to life the role we play in connecting people and places, and does it in a really touching and memorable way.”

Says Gary McCreadie, executive creative director, Special Group: “InterCity journeys are part of the fabric of New Zealand, and visiting loved ones is filled with emotion. We wanted to get that across in a really heart-warming way.”
