Working alongside another Video Producer, you will craft innovative and compelling video content that reaches the hearts and minds of millions and inspires kindness and action on behalf of animals.


You are a video all-rounder, who is passionate about producing compelling, creative content. Importantly you can show:
– An alignment to our vision and values
– Professional video editing and producing experience
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to create content that cuts-through and engages a diverse audience across various social/digital channels
– Ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders to successfully deliver video projects from concept though to finished-level production quality web content
– Openminded with the ability to think strategically and innovatively to challenge conventions and discover new ways of delivering compelling communications

This role is well suited to an ideas fuelled creative who loves conceptualising digital campaigns and social content. Working in a team with agency Art Directors & Designers, you will have the opportunity to apply your writing skills across a broad range of creative projects under the supervision of the Creative Director.

Job criteria:
– 4-5 years + agency experience (with minimum of 2-3yrs at the one agency preferred)
– Conceptual and strategic thinker – able to quickly generate campaignable ideas from client briefs, grounded in consumer insights.
– Able to deliver content and social media ideas that support ATL integrated campaigns
– Experienced at writing brand narratives/manifestoes and developing brand territories from a brand strategy
– Experience writing detailed messaging frameworks and developing customer personas/mindsets to align with any given campaign strategy
– Excellent creative writing skills both short and long copy – developing/following tone of voice, caption writing, ad copy, TV/Radio scripts, long form blog content, etc.
– Perfect grammar/punctuation/spelling/proofing skills.
– Excellent presentation skills: articulate and comfortable presenting to clients.
– Thorough understanding of the creative agency workflow process from briefing, concept development through to execution.
– Creative supervision of radio/tv recording sessions (remotely via phone/VC)

Structure within Agency:
Reporting to the Creative Director, on a day-to-day basis you will work predominantly with an Art Director. At times you will also be required to work & liaise with Studio Designers, Integrated Agency Producer and the Account Service Team.

About you
Confident, devoted and passionate about all things art direction – you will be required to interpret client briefs to art direct impactful, integrated creative solutions with a digital and social focus. About the role
Reporting to the agency Creative Director, day to day you will work alongside our copywriter to conceptualise thought provoking ideas for a broad portfolio of clients spanning tourism, education, government, fintech, retail, property and more – therefore you will need a versatile aesthetic execution that can be adapted to many different applications.

Specific role requirements:
– Minimum of 3-5 years solid agency experience
– Ability to conceptualise and mock-up creative ideas to presentation standard that are in-line with strategic direction and client brief
– Excellent client presentation and communication skills with the ability to clearly explain thinking behind your ideas and provide clear rationales for your art direction recommendations
– Commitment to taking ownership and follow through of all creative assignments from conceptualisation through to overseeing the production and roll out of assets
– Working closely with our Designers, Agency Producer and Account Managers to bring all cross-channel campaign elements to life
– Overseeing the quality of work output during production stage – where appropriate, commissioning specialists with our producer, such as artists, illustrators and photographers, to work on various projects
– Working closely with our Agency Producer to assist with pre-production, production and post-production requirements
– Attending and providing creative supervision during photo/video shoots to ensure all photography/live action is executed according to concept, client expectations and agency standard.

Skills and experience required:
– Demonstrated knowledge of emerging trends in the digital landscape and natural eye for current art direction and design aesthetic, encompassing colour, typography, layout, etc.
– Solution orientated, hands-on, with a positive can-do attitude applied to all tasks
– Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, agile and highly organised work environment and following agency workflow standards
– Proven background in integrated campaign work with a website portfolio to support this
– Understanding of and experience with presenting concepts and proposals to all levels (Creative Director/Clients).
– Ability to intelligently adapt your creative approach to suit the needs of different target audiences
– Thorough understanding of the production processes for video, photography, digital/social and print
– Strong attention to detail and experience proofing/approving artwork
– Ability to work at pace across multiple projects, meeting deadlines and managing time autonomously
