PR consultancy Archer snares Georgia Boyce from FCB NZ for senior account director role

Specialist public relations and marketing consultancy, Archer, has announced the appointment of Georgia Boyce as senior account director.

Boyce joins the agency after working on contract with the team. Previously she was with FCB New Zealand working across the PR, social and activation business as an account director.

Says Angela Spain, managing director, Archer: “I’ve worked off and on with Georgia for the last eight years, so I was extremely keen to secure her talent for the benefit of our clients. She’s smart, calm and intuitive and really understands how to get cut through for her clients ideas, stories and services in a competitive media landscape. We’re really focused on results and being relentless and creative to achieve that for our clients. Georgia instinctively understands that and has already made a positive impact contracting, so confirming her as a key permanent part of the Archer team is a huge win.”

Archer was launched in April 2020 by Angela Spain, who has over twenty years’ experience in public relations, marketing communications and campaign management. Since launch the agency has built up an impressive client roster across the corporate and consumer sector in New Zealand.

The agency is based at Cityworks Depot and has a focused team of public relations and marketing experts who work with additional specialists on an “as needed” basis, ensuring clients are getting the right expertise they need, rather than an existing team who may not offer the right skill set. This covers the full spectrum of public relations, but also creative, content production and social media.

Boyce is actively working across Archer’s portfolio of clients providing public relations counsel, managing campaigns and project managing Archer’s roster of freelance specialists, servicing clients.

Says Boyce: “I am thrilled to be joining the talented team at Archer at such an exciting time of growth for the business. After only 18 months in market, the agency has attracted an impressive and varied client portfolio and delivered a number of stand-out campaigns that have led to positive change and long-term success for a range of New Zealand businesses. I’m looking forward to continuing to build on this success in partnership with our clients.”

The team is looking forward to officially welcoming Boyce when they are able to return to the office.
