43rd AWARD Awards now open for entries; deadline 7pm, Friday 10 December

The Australasian Writers and Art Directors Association (AWARD) has today announced its call for entries for the 43rd AWARD Awards.

As Australasia’s preeminent awards ceremony recognising the finest creative minds from Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, AWARD will be accepting work completed within the eligibility period of 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021 for a broad range of categories.

They include the entry-based Special Awards, which encourages agencies and creatives across the region to enter their work as a way of spotlighting next-level creativity in advertising.

A change to this year’s program includes a rework of the Strategy category (previously the APG Creative Strategy awards), which will now include a new section to recognise young and emerging strategists.

Says Cam Blackley, chair, AWARD: “Over the last few years we have done a huge amount of work to revamp the AWARD Awards, introducing new judging processes and refining certain categories in order to truly uncover the best creative work in the region.

“We are excited to do so again in 2021 and look forward to an incredible calibre of work being entered by everyone across the region’s advertising industry.”

2021 entries are open with an ‘early bird’ discount of 10% (ending at 7pm NZ time on Monday 1 Nov), and entries close at 7pm NZ time on Friday 10 December.

Late entries will be accepted up until 7pm NZ time, Friday 21 January 2022, however there will be an additional late entry fee.
