dentsu New Zealand has announced the appointment of Stevie Weber to the role of executive director, strategy.
Weber is no stranger to the group, having departed dentsu in April 2020 to take on the role of GM strategy for FCB New Zealand. She returns to take on the role of strategic leadership, hinged on her skills in human-centred thinking, and her rich experience and capability across research, insights and strategy.
A powerhouse in the industry having almost two decades of experience across various agencies and groups spanning media, creative and communications capability – including Publicis Media, Edelman, Lowe and Grey – Weber will join the dentsu NZ executive leadership team from January 2022.
On re-joining dentsu, Weber says: “Returning to an agency is a first for me – which is testament to how much I love dentsu. The culture of collaboration and energy is unmatched and they have this genuine ‘never settle’ attitude which is reflected in the work they do to deliver the best outcomes for clients and their customers.
“There is a really clear, ambitious and exciting vision for the business and I’m thrilled I get to be part of driving that forward. But what I’m most looking forward to is working alongside some of the best people in this industry.”

Weber commences with dentsu New Zealand on 10 January 2022.
