Z Energy promotes its latest ‘Good in the Hood’ campaign via J Walter Thompson with dynamic feed on Adshel digital screens around Auckland
Z Energy has launched its latest community campaign ‘Good in the Hood’ via J Walter Thompson, Auckland.
The campaign is part of their continued support of local community groups – including group and voting awareness initiatives using Adshel LIVE and a donation of more than $1 million to the local community groups chosen by local Z retailers and site teams.
Customers who make any purchase at Z Stations receive a token which can be used to vote for their favourite local group. Using an innovative system, tokens are electronically counted as they are deposited for each group, these results are then displayed in real time online and on the street via Adshel LIVE’s state of the art digital inventory.
Adshel LIVE sites which are in close proximity of a Z Station show the detail of each local community group. The digital voting units not in proximity to a Z Station display the total number of votes for the region. Using Adshel’s analytics system, all facets of the campaign
can be tracked, right down to the number of tokens allocated to individual community groups.
Says Z Energy’s Brand Specialist Julie Malcolm-Shand: “Our focus is on engaging audiences at a neighbourhood level. With Adshel Live’s digital screen network, we were able to tailor unique messaging right to the heart of the communities. The network gave us the perfect platform to give real-time updates and build excitement around the campaign.”
Says Adshel’s digital and technology sales manager Rick Goodwin: “Adshel Live offers advertisers the ability to provide dynamic, engaging messages to their target audience, and all of this at scale. Adshel’s network reaches audiences where they live, work, shop, play and in this case, visit their local gas station”. Through this campaign, Z Energy had the ability to update content 24/7 with uninterrupted and fast access to web content. We are pleased to have partnered with Z Energy in keeping communities updated in an innovative way.”
The launch of this breaking campaign is another initiative demonstrating the flexibility advertisers are able to tap in to with Adshel, enabling them to manage their own digital-out-of- home creative based on time of day, place, audience, context and business needs in real time.
