This spot is the latest installment of the Lift Plus campaign from Publicis Mojo that started in 2001.
Same agency. Same director. Same cast. Poo on a stick is probably a first for commercial advertising.

So did the client kill the good ideas or was this it?
Sharpen up…Its not very good.
Weren’t you allowed to drink any or doesn’t it do what it says in the ads?
Yep, poo on a stick it is.
Embarrassingly bad.
Almost as bad as the All Blacks win a car one with the homophobic punchline. Has Lift Plus changed agencies or something? Weren’t these ads once good?
Whoops, just read the note. Same agency. So… what HAS changed? Brand manager?
Dear Friends & Neighbors,
Is this, perhaps, more appearling to you?

I greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you again for your constructive comments and hoping that you are enjoying your Sunday.
It’s not that bad, it just pales compared to the others which were pretty great.
I think all the ingredients are the same, but wait hang on, oh my gosh here’s a chance to say something nice about Karl Fleet.
Go on I dare ya.
It’s not as bad as the ASB ads.
thanks for that Peter
No need though I don’t think anyone’s blaming curious
Nice stuff about Karl Fleet? Golly!
That’s just really really really… really awful.
Casey’s pretty hot on the Ninja Gaiden spots though. I’d teach her how to get her mouth around better English.
Thank you.
However, I responded b/c I was the one to post the spot on the blog.
I did so because I always like what Robin does with Lift Plus.
Moreover, I like Miki’s acting.
Thanks again for the comments.
Also, glad you like Casey! She’s also a director at Curious…
I like what Robyn does too. Considering most of the people responding hack out uninspired, uniform ads, I wouldn’t be too worried Peter.
