LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS TO COUNT IN THE CAMPAIGN BRIEF CREATIVE RANKINGS
The London International Awards will be included for the first time in the annual Campaign Brief Creative Rankings. Campaign Brief has been closely observing the LIA show for the past four years and we have been very impressed with the toughness of the judging, the quality of the winning work and the positive comments from some of the judges around the world we respect the most. Clinching their involvement from this year onwards, the London Internationals is also moving to a 30+ person jury that will sit and judge together each year in London.
London Internationals call for entries is April 13, 2009.
The shows that are included in the Campaign Brief Creative Rankings are:
Cannes
D&AD
The One Show
Clio
London Internationals
AWARD
The Work
The Caxtons

Jesus Lynchey, are you on a commission from these people? It’s hard enough finding money to enter local and regional shows without adding another one from the other side of the world. Expanding the rankings like this favours the big agencies even more and skews the CB ratings towards shops with big wallets, not just great work. If truly great work shines wherever it’s entered, what’s the point of including so many shows? I suggest Axis, D&AD and Cannes and let that be the end of it.

How about tiered rankings? One list based of the big 3, and one for the award-maniacs.
