Curious Film director Stephen Kang wins film industry accolade at the 2011 APN Symposium
Curious Film director Stephen Kang has been recognized for his extraordinary talents at the 2011 Asia-Pacific Producers’ Network (APN) Symposium held in Auckland last weekend.
Three well-known New Zealanders were singled out for their creative achievements, which have brought them international recognition and acclaim. Kang picked up his award alongside actor Temuera Morrison (Once We Were Warriors), and actress Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider).
Kang is the same director behind the short film “Blue”, which won the Semaine de la Critique Grand Prix at the Cannes International Film Festival earlier this year.
