JaneStanley.jpgSpark has announced the appointment of Jane Stanley (pictured left) as its new group strategy director and the promotion of Nicky Greville to strategy director.

Says Louise Bond, CEO: “Building our strategic planning team is a priority for Spark Group as we continue to innovate and deliver best-in-class communications solutions for our clients. The appointment of Jane is a big win for Spark Group and we are equally thrilled to now formally acknowledge Nicky’s major contribution to Strategy within our organisation over the years.”

Stanley will spearhead Spark PHD’s planning offering and work across Spark Group’s two specialist business units, PHDiQ and Spark PR & Activate. There is a recognised changing face of strategy globally, and Stanley’s international and through-the-line experience and strong skills in digital will add significant value to all Spark Group client business.

NickyGreville.jpgIn her most recent role as head of planning at Melbourne based creative agency Clemenger Harvie Edge, Stanley was instrumental in recently winning GE Capital and City of Melbourne through-the-line accounts. Previous to working in Australia, she planned on a number of award-winning European campaigns for the likes of Diageo, Unilever and T-Mobile.

Says Stanley: “My Kiwi husband and I always planned to return to New Zealand. Accepting the role has made this plan a reality and I can’t wait to get amongst the creative force and spirit of Spark’s well established team.”

Greville (pictured left), whose exceptional work on Unilever and New Zealand Lotteries was recognised at this year’s CAANZ Media Awards where Spark PHD scooped up five Golds and two Silvers, has been with the agency for over four years – the last two as media director. Greville’s new role as strategy director will see her oversee the delivery of insight-driven solutions to Spark PHD clients while inspiring the agency teams to create first-rate media solutions.

Stanley’s official first day will be 13 August 2012 and Greville’s new role is effective immediately.
