Steve Lowe appointed as Splice Group’s CEO
Fast growing mana-based business Splice Group has appointed seasoned executive and ICT professional Steve Lowe as chief executive officer.
Having worked in senior management and in directorship positions for Telecom New Zealand, IBM, AT&T and Alcatel-Lucent, Lowe brings extensive local and international experience in IT infrastructure to the company.
As specialists in providing IT platforms, Geographic Information System (GIS), web based solutions and leading-edge support programmes for clients, Splice Group has grown from four to more than 10 employees since its 2010 beginnings.
André Post, director says clients including the three Wairarapa District Councils, New Zealand Transport Agency, and BRANZ, have been integral to the company’s early success, and says Lowe’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to growing existing and new client relationships.
Says Post: “We have exciting plans to grow the business, and with Steve on board we can really make an impact.”
The business community has recognised the Splice Group’s early successes.
They were a finalist in the Cyber Gold Category of the Wellington Gold Awards in 2012, and won the ICT Category in the Westpac Porirua City Business Excellence Awards in 2011.
Says Post: “We are young, we are growing quickly, and Steve’s skills and expertise will be vital to developing us and taking the company to the next level.”
Lowe says he is delighted to be joining Splice Group as it takes off.
“I’ve always been passionate about growing businesses, particularly young ones. This is a dynamic company in a growing industry, and I am looking forward to being involved in the Splice Group’s ongoing development and success.”
