Streaming content company QuickFlix launches brand retail campaign via Y&R New Zealand
Y&R NZ has launched a new campaign for Quickflix, Australasia’s leading streaming content company, the first since winning the business in March this year.
The commercials feature two aspiring TV and film actors, on set, in costume, between takes. We join them mid-conversation, as they discuss the merits of Quickflix.
The spots were created with Finch Productions – directed by Alex Roberts and produced by Roi MacGregor.

Well I went straight from the ads to sign-up so that worked. Straightforward, no frills, effective ads.
Nice
Liek
Funny. All about product in an entertaining way. Should get people signing up too. Good job.
Funny, no confusion who they are advertising, good work
nice. simple. funny. there’s even a point.
Nice stuff, you can’t go wrong with Zombies.
Nice one Alex, good work
No. Not good. Wanted to like it but didn’t..

Like the ads. Hate Quickflix.
Don’t waste your time there. They have a huge range of 80s movies you will never watch, and a couple of BBC series you downloaded last year but never got around to watching.
Nice ads though.

Update: didn’t sign up in the end as the movie library is shite but that’s not the ad’s fault.
bugger – they lost me at that ridiculous “you had me” line. a nice idea averagely written.
I didn’t quite catch that. Can you repeat yourself 3 times?
This is fantastic. The acting is brilliant, well paced and humerous, with the right amount of ‘dry’ comedy in there. Good choice on branding approach, I hope to see more film related ads with these two chaps. Funny as.
He who spruiks poor product goes bankrupt sooner
Wow guys!!! finished patting yourselves on the back. These are not funny at all, you are not comedy writers. these are average at best.
