Flip.jpgKiwi broadband and homeline company Flip has placed an ad in today’s New Zealand Herald via its agency Sugar&Partners.

While the big players in the New Zealand broadband market stumble over themselves to reduce their previously inflated pricing for homeline and broadband services, relative newcomer Flip, which launched in September, trumped them all with a home phone line for $49.95 per month which includes 5GB of broadband.

Says Dave Nash, creative partner of Sugar&Partners: “Flip believes broadband is a basic human right, and is making it possible for many more kiwis to access broadband by not having to pay over the odds.”

Says Scott Hoogerbrug, Flip’s head of marketing: “A large percentage of New Zealand households are still using dial up, or paying for massive data plans they don’t use or need. At times paying double what they need to.”

Flip offers additional data packs online as and when they need them, ranging from an extra 2GB for $5 to 40GB for $25. The data rolls over and doesn’t expire for a year. With no contracts and simple online account service, Flip brings Kiwis a fairer deal.
