I love the ongoing John Key impersonation here.
Fuck. Just when I thought this was a nice organic thing… turns out it’s just going to be a teaser for (insert brand here).
?
when they’re finished teasing will it actually be funny?
It’s not meant to be funny you fool.
Great work and is entertaining. Shame people feel the need to throw mud at someone who is making shit happen.
I really enjoyed this. It was supposed to be shite right?
A lot of people in a lot of agencies make web videos outside of work. Why is this on Campaign brief?
Haha good one!11
Ben, don’t put stuff up on this blog and expect people not to give you shit for it. Everything gets shit on here, including the best work in the country. I would suggest not retaliating to it either. For instance, the “Not meant to be funny”? CLEARLY, you are aiming for it to be funny. Also, the “I’m a scabby student who loves to be a bad-ass drinker” shtick has been done far better before, Dunedin Uni has spawned countless brilliant videos. Stick to agency creative (which you are very good at) and showcasing the latest “drop” from Supreme.
All feedback is welcome, but constructive criticism is appreciated.
I expected negative, anonymous comments and was actually looking forward to the stupidity of them. Also retaliating for once.
I’ve got it out of my system now.
The content was a bit of a test and we’ve learnt loads in this first pilot. Episode 1 will be a lot sharper.
