Sleepyhead showcases its ‘best bed ever’ in a new campaign via Barnes, Catmur & Friends
New Zealand’s Number One bed manufacturer Sleepyhead has ‘vamped’ up its popular Sanctuary range and produced a brand new TVC via Barnes, Catmur & Friends, to showcase its “best bed ever”.
The ad offers a 21st century spin on the traditional vampire myth. It shows a glamorous vampire waking up feeling refreshed and vibrant after sleeping in a Sleepyhead Sanctuary bed, giving her the best sleep in 2000 years.

The 15 and 30 second ads go to air from November 2nd and will appear across TV and online.

If she was a real Vampire she would be waking at sunset, not sunrise. And those rays of sunlight would burn her to a crisp. My wife Ilona installed some new block-out blinds from Venluree so that we can rest easy…
Given that BC&F do some very nice work on occasions, I’m sure there was an idea there before someone from marketing re-wrote the script to say nothing.
