Augusto bolsters offering with five new hires
It’s been a big year for the team at Augusto; new technology, new business and some new talent puts them in prime position as they charge full steam ahead for an exciting and busy new year.
From a tech side, 360 degree content has become a staple for Augusto following the successful campaign for AIG Haka 360˚, a recently released project for V Energy Drift 360˚ and a number more in the pipeline.
They’re also celebrating producing 3 of the 10 most watched YouTube Ads in New Zealand for 2015*, major business growth with Mitre 10 and an increase in global work for adidas rugby. Plus they have a few more exciting new business developments that they’re keeping tight-lipped until the new year.
Along with the recent promotion of Oliver Sealy to general manager, some new faces can be seen around the City Works Depot shed doors following the addition of new talent to its team. Louisa Golding, who brings over 10 years of both agency and client side experience, has joined the expanding account service team as head of business development with Tammy Milani, who joins as account director on AIG.
Augusto is also boosting its creative firepower by bringing onboard creative directors, Matt Sellars and Rich Robson. Sellars joins them from his recent creative group head role at Saatchi & Saatchi NZ, teaming up with Robson, who’s heading back across the ditch from his role as associate creative director at Sydney-based agency, Host.
Says Sellars: “Rich and I believe we’ve found the sweet spot here at Augusto. They’re the perfect blend of thinkers and doers, ridiculously talented, enthusiastic, with some super interesting work in the pipeline.”
Augusto founders, Michelle Walshe and Leon Kirkbeck add that they’re both “really stoked to bring onboard this fantastic, talented bunch of individuals as we look to push conventional marketing boundaries. This is a really exciting time for Augusto and we’re looking forward to announcing some new developments over the next couple of months as our unique model continues to grow.”
