Hato Hone St John: The Hello Project
Stanley St
Over 180,000 elderly live alone in Aotearoa. Too often, they are found alone at home physically hurt, needing the support of their neighbours to make sure they’re okay. And to watch out for warning signs that something might be wrong. Something as simple as a porch light. So Hato Hone St John partnered with The Hello Project to create an integrated campaign that encourages Kiwis to look out for each other, the warning signs, and to act when you know you should. It might just save a life.

Rebel Sport: Rebel Sport Home Iso
Stanley St
At the height of Covid, Kiwis spent months in lockdown. Unfortunately, most didn’t have the gear needed to maintain their fitness at home. Luckily Rebel Sport, NZ’s largest sporting goods store, had their backs.

We created a series of ads that took a light-hearted approach to some of the more creative ways people were attempting their home workouts – this execution brings to life a medicine ball made from cans of food. Then, we offered a simple alternative solution – an online store full of home workout gear that could be delivered at the click of a button.

Tatou: Matariki is not for sale
Stanely St
In 2022, Matariki was celebrated throughout Aotearoa as a new public holiday.

There were concerns it would be exploited by brands, seeing an opportunity for seasonal sales promotions. Sensing this, Tātou, a cultural consultancy, took action to protect it, reaching out to kiwi advertisers, inviting them to commit not to sell Matariki.

A groundswell was created, resulting in dozens of articles, TV/radio & social stories.

Maori leaders, cultural agencies, retail, corporates & councils got behind it. On the day, there were no Matariki price drops, midnight deals & no Matariki combos.
