Megan Flynn joins YoungShand in the role of head of media partnerships

Integrated Indie agency YoungShand has appointed experienced media executive Megan Flynn (far left) as head of media partnerships.

 

Says Duncan Shand, managing director, YoungShand: “We’re excited to bring Megan into the team. Megan has a strong media background across almost all of New Zealand’s major publishers. Megan’s publishing experience will help us create strong win-win partnerships with them. We know this will drive a lot of value for our clients. Meg’s also an incredibly nice person who will get alongside our clients and work with them to drive business results.”

This year YoungShand has doubled down on its focus of working with ambitious Challenger Brands.

Says Shand: “Challenger brands have to get everything right and our new integrated approach managing strategy, creative, digital and media just makes things better, faster, and easier for our clients. We have a clear approach that ensures everything works together to drive unreasonable results. Having a strong media offering is a key part of our integrated offering that we are continuing to invest in.”

Recently Hamish Pilgrem (far right) joined as a digital media manager after developing his digital skills at PHD and Leina Barke (centre) also joined the team as media planner Buyer bringing a depth of TV buying experience from OMD. In addition to investments in people, YoungShand has also invested in GWI as a leading consumer research tool and Bionic as a media planning and operations tool.
