Artemis Communications bolsters PR team to support client growth 

Independent communications agency Artemis Communications has announced the appointment of Hannah Pearce to its growing public relations team in the role of senior account manager.

Led by PR director Rebecca Churchill, Pearce’s appointment comes as Artemis signs Global Women as a retainer client and recently collaborated with FCB Aotearoa and Mercury on a recent large-scale comms campaign.

Pearce joins Artemis Communications from The Walt Disney Company, where she previously held the role of account executive. In this role Pearce developed and lead a wide variety of successful campaigns, including most recently the release of the Te Reo Māori adaptations of The Lion King and Frozen.

Says Isobel Kerr-Newell, group CEO of Artemis Communications: “Hannah is a recognised PR practitioner in the New Zealand media landscape through her work on both global and local brands. She has already made her mark in her short time at Artemis Communications, most notably on Mercury’s Second Sun campaign.

“On the client side, we are thrilled to be working with Global Women again – a client both Beccy and I have worked with previously. As a Global Women member myself, we are ardent supporters of the collectives’ kaupapa and are looking forward to continuing to create space for their voice and mission in Aotearoa New Zealand’s media.”
