ANZ NZ celebrates Kiwis being cricket fans since forever in new campaign via TBWA\NZ
To celebrate Kiwis’ lasting love of cricket ANZ NZ is swinging for the fences with a new campaign called ‘Fans Since Forever’ developed by TBWA\NZ.
The campaign showcases ANZ’s long-standing sponsorship of New Zealand Cricket by celebrating the unique role cricket plays in communities throughout the country over summer.
And this season, cricket fans everywhere will be in for a treat as home match coverage shifts to free-to-air viewing on TVNZ, TVNZ + and Duke with the broadcast sponsored by ANZ NZ.
Says Matthew Pickering, general manager marketing, ANZ NZ: “ANZ has been a major sponsor of New Zealand Cricket for 24 years, not out. We’re proud to sponsor both the Blackcaps and White Ferns, as well as being a partner of the junior game to help encourage the next generation of players. Cricket has been part of New Zealand communities forever and we’re here to support Kiwis everywhere who enjoy cricket at all levels – from the backyard to the stadium.”
Says Shane Bradnick, chief creative officer, TBWA\NZ Group: “Kiwis have been fans of cricket since – forever. Whether you’re a diehard fan or a backyard batter pretty much everyone is up for a game of backyard cricket – what’s more, it’s usually sandpaper free. So, to celebrate ANZ’s sponsorship we put a match together for the Sharma family with their neighbours.”
The campaign will appear in AV, OOH, social, and digital.
