THUNDERLIPS join Supernormal’s roster

Supernormal has added two new comedy voices to its director roster for exclusive representation.

Acclaimed Kiwi duo THUNDERLIPS are known for blending their anarchic sense of humour into advertising, grounding their unconventional narratives in pitch-perfect casting, genuine performances and in-camera practical effects.

Says Matt McKenzie, EP, Supernormal: “From the moment we met Sean and Jordan, it was clear they lean toward those absurd truths that result in work that lives rent-free in your imagination. They are filmmakers who are fluent in every aspect of production and are always searching for that excellent little idea to make a great script even greater.”

Ten years of working together on sets and in darkened rooms has formed a nearly telepathic on-set process allowing THUNDERLIPS to be in two places at once – a spectacular two-for-one deal. Between them the duo have worked in nearly all departments on both huge Hollywood movies and no-budget short films – from casting to makeup to lighting, camera, locations, art, acting, editing and VFX. A love of the process itself informs their work, as well as a deep respect for their crews and collaborators.
