ZURU Edge-owned Rascals appoints Mango for rebrand launch

It’s the world’s fastest growing nappy brand, born here in New Zealand. Now the ZURU Edge-owned Rascals has worked with integrated comms agency Mango to celebrate its rebrand.

Proving that you’re never too young to have fun, Mango staged a one-day festival with an epic line up of activities for parents and kids (aged from 0 to 5). Hosted at the Glasshouse in Morningside, Auckland, the sold-out festival featured kids’ friendly DJ, photobooth, ball pit and more.

Says Hannah Morris, senior marketing manager at Rascals: “When we decided to rebrand from Rascals + Friends to Rascals, we wanted to celebrate with a family-friendly activity and our community here in New Zealand. Mango developed the Rascals Funfest, which ticked all the boxes to reflect our new brand and purpose.”

The event raised funds for Gingernut’s Angels, a charity helping New Zealanders in need of financial support on their fertility journey. It was started by Jaimee Lupton, partner of ZURU’s Nick Mowbray.

Brianna Elder, managing partner at Mango said the festival was one of those campaigns that “put a smile on your face. There’s nothing cuter than a room full of babies and toddlers, getting their groove on. We’re also super thrilled to raise money for an awesome charity.”
