Daylight promotes client services director Kristen Morris to the role of general manager

Daylight has announced that Kristen Morris is moving into the role of general manager, stepping up from her previous position as client services director after returning from parental leave.

Morris has been with Daylight since day one, building foundational client relationships, leading the account service team, and delivering award-winning work across the health and science portfolio within the business.

With extensive agency and international experience, Morris has been instrumental in leading Daylight’s long-standing relationship with the World Health Organization, guiding critical public service and digital campaigns throughout the pandemic’s peak through to the present day.

Says Lee Lowndes, CEO of Daylight: “Kristen has played a vital role in building Daylight from the ground up. We honestly wouldn’t be the business we are today without her. Her commitment to delivering meaningful, impactful work is second to none. Now that she’s stepping into the role of General Manager, I’m excited to see her bring her point of view to the wider business.”

Says Morris: “I’m incredibly proud of how far Daylight has come in the past four years. Our team has nearly tripled in size, and everyone is united in pushing boundaries to create bold, game-changing work for our clients. I’m looking forward to the challenge of this new role and it’s so lovely to be back amongst the energy and creativity of the Daylight team and our amazing partners.”

Alongside stepping into the role of general manager, Morris will continue to lead Daylight’s health and science offering, leading the World Health Organization, government relationships, and long-standing partnerships with leading New Zealand academics and research groups.
