David McIndoe departs Saatchi & Saatchi for chief strategy officer role at DDB Group Aotearoa
One of New Zealand’s most highly awarded strategists David McIndoe has returned to DDB Group Aotearoa to fill the role of chief strategy officer.
McIndoe returns to DDB following an eight and a half year stint at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand first joining in 2016 as head of planning, where he rose to chief strategy officer. Prior to joining Saatchi & Saatchi, McIndoe was head of planning at TBWA\New Zealand.
With over two decades of experience spanning industries such as banking and beer, McIndoe is no stranger to DDB, having worked with the agency from 2010 to 2013. During his earlier tenure, he contributed to acclaimed campaigns like Steinlager’s ‘Original White Can’ and SKY’s ‘Happy Place’.
Known for blending his background in economics and psychology to shape his strategic insights, McIndoe will now lead DDB’s strategy team, building on the agency’s strong momentum and creative achievements.
