AWARD School 2025 applications now open: Applications close Thursday, February 20
Applications are now open for AWARD School – the ultimate hothouse for anyone passionate about creativity and ideas. The AWARD School online course is perfect for students based in New Zealand.
The 12-week part-time program consists of weekly lectures and tutorials by some of the country’s top creatives – equipping participants with the skills needed to excel in the dynamic world of advertising.
From March to July, students complete 10 briefs that challenge them to develop breakthrough concepts for big-name brands and products.
Those interested can apply for the course in their state or for the online program, and Indigenous scholarships are also up for grabs, valued at up to $2,420 to cover the entire course.
The online course is delivered virtually outside of work hours by lecturers and tutors drawn from Australia and New Zealand’s creative industry. All lectures, tutorials and the graduation event are held online. The graduation includes the announcement of the year’s top online student award.
The top student from each program (including online) will compete for the highly sought-after AWARD School national top student title.
What is the time commitment?
Lectures (typically released on Mondays) 30-60 minutes / week
Tutorials (Thursday Nights) 2 hours / week
Additional “idea generating” time 2+ hours / week (varies)
