Cystic Fibrosis NZ appoints Chemistry to lead creative and digital

Cystic Fibrosis NZ has chosen Chemistry to lead its creative and digital marketing efforts in 2025 and beyond, marking a new chapter in the organisation’s mission to support individuals and families affected by the condition.

The independent Freeman’s Bay-based agency will be charged with raising awareness, driving engagement and supporting fundraising efforts.

“Cystic Fibrosis NZ provides invaluable support to both individuals and families living with this condition. We’re honoured that they’ve chosen us to help amplify their voice and their mission” says Maddie Smith, Account lead at Chemistry.

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-shortening, genetic disorder that affects the lungs and digestive system, requiring daily treatment and ongoing medical care. The organisation plays a crucial role in providing advocacy, support services and research to improve the lives of those affected.

The focus of this partnership will be on building stronger nationwide brand presence for CFNZ, fostering deeper community connections for those with and without the disease and maximising new fundraising potential – starting with their New Zealand CF Symposium in May.

“Finding the right agency to help share our story and connect with more people was so important to us. We needed a partner who truly understands the impact of cystic fibrosis and has the creativity and passion to bring our mission to life. From day one, Chemistry has shown they ‘get it’—and we’re already feeling the energy and excitement of what we can achieve together” says Lisa Burns, Chief Executive CFNZ.

This latest win continues Chemistry’s commitment to delivering impactful work for purpose-driven organisations, having delivered a record-breaking fundraising campaign for Hato Hone St John in 2024 and game-changing impact for the Aged Care Association in 2023.
