Lightforce Solar launches new ‘The Future is Obvious’ brand platform via YoungShand

Lightforce Solar, a leader in sustainable energy solutions, has launched a new brand platform, ‘The Future is Obvious’ created in collaboration with YoungShand. The campaign points out that the solution to high power prices, power resilience and a renewable energy has been right above us all along – the sun.

By simply harnessing its power, we can future proof our reliance on traditional energy sources and put the power back into the hands of the kiwi consumer – literally.

John Harman, CEO of Lightforce Solar says:“Of all OECD countries, New Zealand has the least rooftops utilising Solar, which is the cheapest way to generate power. The solution to our energy crisis has been there in plain sight this whole time. From powering family homes to large-scale commercial projects, Lightforce Solar has already helped thousands of Kiwi embrace clean, renewable energy.

“For far too long we’ve been at the mercy of large power companies who continue to price gouge. The government refuses to regulate, so it’s time we were all able to control our own energy future by harnessing it direct from the sun into our own homes. It’s time for New Zealanders to gain energy independence.”

Looking at NZ’s closest neighbours, studies from Australia show that households with solar can save up to 60% on their annual power bills. Applying similar projections to New Zealand, a typical household could potentially save tens of thousands of dollars over the lifetime of a solar system.

The savings New Zealand households can save on their power bill vary between 40% and 80%, depending on the Solar system installed.

Additionally, research from homes.co.nz indicates that installing a solar system can increase a home’s resale value by 4.4%, making it a smart financial investment as well as an environmentally responsible choice.

Launching this week, the Future is Obvious campaign will roll out across all media channels, including television, radio, digital, social, out of home and a brand-new website.

Renowned rugby stars Scott, Jordie, and Beauden Barrett, have signed on as brand ambassadors. The Barrett brothers, known for their excellence on the field, share the same commitment to a more sustainable future and will play a key role in advocating for solar adoption across the country to help encourage other Kiwi to gain energy independence.

Testimonials from the Barrett brothers will also launch as they get solar installed into their own homes, allowing them to advocate for the benefits first hand.

Adds Harman: “We were ambitious in wanting this incredible trio of rugby legends as brand ambassadors, but as conversations evolved, it became clear that our values aligned. Investing in rooftop solar isn’t just about reducing power bills—it’s about securing a sustainable energy future for all New Zealanders.”

Lightforce Solar is New Zealand owned and is committed to delivering high-quality, solar installations for both residential and commercial customers, right across the country and encourage kiwis to investigate solar, as stated in the campaign, the future is obvious.
