The Comms Council launches call for entries for the Effie Awards Aotearoa; filament Founder Murray Streets named Convenor of Judges

The Effie Awards Aotearoa are now open for entry. Sponsored by TVNZ, the awards, held in more than 55 countries across the globe, are the gold standard for advertising effectiveness.
“We welcome entries that help us prove the ongoing effectiveness of creative advertising, whether they are from big brands who have entered before, or small entrants for whom Effie is new. It’s an opportunity to tell your story of success, and share best practice with marketers looking for examples that light the path to effectiveness.”
Murray Streets (pictured below) takes on the Convenor of Judging duties this year. Streets is no stranger to effectiveness awards, having been Chief Strategy Officer at both FCB and Saatchi & Saatchi, and Managing Director of dentsu Creative. Now leading his own business, filament, Streets is looking forward to leading the judging for Effie Aotearoa.

Says Streets: “Demonstrating the effectiveness of our industry’s work is more critical than ever. As our economy and society seek to grow and change for the better, so in turn are the ways in which advertising and marketing evolve to achieve success.”
The awards are now open, with Early Bird entry deadlines on Tuesday 22 July.
