Chemist Warehouse appoints DARKHORSE as experiential partner for its annual Chemist Warehouse brand showcase

Chemist Warehouse, one of Australasia’s largest pharmacy and beauty retailers, has appointed brand experience and communications agency DARKHORSE as its experiential partner for New Zealand for the annual Chemist Warehouse brand showcase. The decision followed a highly competitive pitch process involving four agencies.

Andrea O’Hagan, Head of Marketing at Chemist Warehouse, emphasised the importance of selecting an agency that aligns with the company’s principles of being trailblazers. DARKHORSE’s “first never follows” mentality was a key factor in the decision: “It was crucial for us to partner with an agency that shares our values and passion for innovation. DARKHORSE’s creativity, passion, and commitment really stood out and played a significant role in our decision.

“Their ability to create premium experiences, combined with their enthusiastic approach to client management, impressed us and we’re looking forward to activating with the DH team on such a significant event.”

With 60 stores across the country, Chemist Warehouse is dedicated to growth and positioning the brand as a leader in New Zealand’s pharmacy and retail sectors.

Says Francesca Kelly, Managing Director of DARKHORSE: “We’re thrilled to team up with Chemist Warehouse. They’re not only a favourite brand among our team, but also a major player in the market that loves to challenge the status quo. We’re incredibly proud to have been selected after such a competitive pitch.”

Kelly continued, “Our team is excited to create and deliver premium, engaging experiences for Chemist Warehouse as a brand as we move forward.”

DARKHORSE has offices in Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, and Dubai, and offers a range of in-house capabilities including strategy, creative, events, PR, influencers, social, and content.
