Naveya & Sloane launches giant ring box activation to celebrate expansion via Lomas Kerr

Luxury jewellery house Naveya & Sloane has marked its expansion into the South Island with a striking activation created by creative PR agency Lomas Kerr.

To celebrate the opening of its first South Island showroom and 16 years in business, Naveya & Sloane unveiled a towering 2m tall ring box installation in the heart of Christchurch, adorned with cascading fresh florals, designed by local florist Bek Novak. Conceived as part promotional piece and part thank you note, the activation transformed an ordinary winter morning into a moment of unexpected beauty.

The activation was strategically positioned at Friendship Corner near the Bridge of Remembrance – a location chosen for its visibility and proximity to the Avon River. A nod to Christchurch’s nickname, the Garden City, the floral display created a moment of connection between brand and community.

In a final gesture of appreciation, co-founder Rachel Sloane personally handed out flowers from the installation to passersby as the piece was dismantled – a simple, human touch that reflected the brand’s ethos of thoughtfulness and meaning.
