Stéphan Willemse joins Merkle Aotearoa in the role of Head of Digital Experience

Merkle Aotearoa, a dentsu company, has appointed Stéphan Willemse as the Head of Digital Experience.
Willemse will be responsible for helping clients shape customer experiences that are cohesive, valuable and useful. The role blends strategic consulting with execution – working across the agency’s disciplines to ensure that good ideas are implemented and grounded in genuine human insight, technical feasibility and commercial viability.
Willemse brings over a decade of experience in digital strategy and innovation, most recently serving as Head of Strategy at Digital Arts Network and NEXT Innovation & Futures Specialist at TBWA\Worldwide. His career spans industries including insurance, banking and public sector transformation, with a focus on helping organisations innovate toward positive, realistic alternatives to their status quo.
