Wave enters new chapter as Aimee Fitzjohn and Craig Parker become shareholders
Independent creative and brand agency Wave has announced a new chapter of shared ownership with General Manager Aimee Fitzjohn and Creative Director Craig Parker joining Director Glenn Dougal as shareholders in the business.
The move marks an evolution for the Mount Maunganui-based agency, strengthening its leadership team and signalling a long-term commitment to Wave’s growth and creative direction.
Says Dougal: “Wave has always been built on strong partnerships, with our people, our clients, and the shared ambition to create work that makes a difference. Aimee and Craig have been instrumental in shaping our direction over the past few years. This step reflects both our confidence in where we’re headed and our commitment to leading Wave together.”
Under the trio’s leadership, Wave has refined its collaborative model bringing together senior specialists and partner talent to tackle complex business and brand challenges. The agency’s recent work includes campaigns for Ballance Agri-Nutrients, Horticulture New Zealand and the Brother New Zealand.
Fitzjohn says the shared ownership structure reinforces the culture that defines Wave: “We’ve built an agency that values curiosity, connection, and results. This next chapter is about continuing to deliver great work for ambitious brands, while ensuring Wave remains a place where good people can do their best thinking.”
Adds Parker: “It’s about creative leadership that’s hands-on, responsive, and rooted in real relationships. We’re proud of the work we’re doing and the people we’re doing it with.”
Wave, established in 1994, partners with New Zealand organisations across brand, advertising, and digital. The agency continues to grow its national client base from its home in Mount Maunganui.
