FCB Aotearoa strengthens strategy offering with hiring of Liam Norris as Strategy Director
FCB Aotearoa has appointed Liam Norris as Strategy Director, continuing the agency’s momentum after a sustained period of growth driven by new business wins and expanding remits across existing clients.
Norris joins FCB’s integrated strategy team, bringing over a decade of experience from some of Aotearoa’s most respected agencies, and most recently from Rethink Toronto — one of Canada’s most awarded independent agencies.
His return to New Zealand marks both a homecoming and a new chapter for FCB, as the agency continues to see an upswing in client demand for fully integrated thinking — connecting brand, comms, media and data led strategy in one cohesive approach.
Says Matt Kingston, Chief Strategy Officer at FCB Aotearoa, says Liam’s appointment reinforces the agency’s creative and strategic strength: “Liam’s hit the ground running bringing a tonne of energy, an obsession with the work, and a pretty solid Spotify playlist.”
Says Norris: “FCB has one of the most compelling client rosters in the industry and with Paul, Matt and Leisa at the helm I knew this was the right place for me to take this next step in my career. Their vision for the agency is based in truth and backed by good people and they are making the type of work that keeps me excited about our industry… (and the basketball court didn’t hurt either).”
