Ford launches ‘Ready Set Ford’ global campaign in NZ ahead of the Australian Grand Prix

Ford Australia has announced its global brand campaign ‘Ready Set Ford’ will inspire minds and rev hearts Down Under ahead of the Australian Grand Prix, marking the first time the automaker has launched a primary brand platform in Australia and New Zealand in 15 years.

 

Building on Ford’s successful integrated marketing campaigns in 2025, It Takes You and a Ranger and Conquer the Weekend, ‘Ready Set Ford’ showcases what the automaker stands for in a new era of engineering and design with the customer at the heart.

“Ford is about thrill, we’re about work and we’re about adventure,” says Ambrose Henderson, Director Marketing Ford Australia. “We do those things incredibly well and we are extremely proud of it. With Ready Set Ford, we’re making a fundamental shift to lift the primary brand by focusing on our customers and the lifestyles they lead. Given our strong sales results and momentum in 2025, there is no better time to do this.”

‘Ready Set Ford’ is organised around three distinct lifestyle pillars:

Last year, the Ford Everest was also Australia’s #1 selling large SUV for the second year running, with the Mustang continuing as Australia’s #1 sports car.

The global campaign debuted in the U.S. late last year and covers all vehicle nameplates under the Blue Oval. Launching in Australian and New Zealand markets from mid-February, ‘Ready Set Ford’ integration will be seen around the Australian Grand Prix in March, as Ford returns to Formula 1 with Oracle Red Bull Racing.

“What an amazing way to launch this new brand campaign with the first race of the F1 season happening in Melbourne, on Ford’s return to the pinnacle of motorsports after 22 years,” adds Henderson. “It is also being integrated in the launch advertising for the all-new Ranger Super Duty, the apex of the Ranger brand and the ultimate heavy-duty work vehicle.”

‘Ready Set Ford’ is live across Australia and New Zealand and will feature across ARN Network, Meta, YouTube, and across OOH via oOH! and JCDecaux.
