JW Marriott Auckland appoints SHOWPONI

JW Marriott Auckland has appointed SHOWPONI to lead strategic public relations and integrated brand activity across New Zealand and Australia, as the hotel builds on strong recent growth, industry recognition and renewed momentum in New Zealand’s high-end travel sector.

 

Late last year JW Marriott Auckland was recognised as Best Luxury Hotel at the prestigious HM Awards (Hotel & Accommodation Excellence Awards), reinforcing the hotel’s position among New Zealand’s leading premium hospitality destination. The property ‘s leadership was also recognised with General Manager Girish Talreja named New Zealand General Manager of the Year, alongside accolades for revenue management and sales.

The recognition comes at a pivotal time for Auckland’s visitor economy. The recent opening of the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) in the city centre, alongside an expanded calendar of major sporting and entertainment events at Eden Park, is expected to further strengthen Auckland’s global appeal and drive increased international visitation, business events and economic activity across the region.
