Anchor showcases the power of its culinary range in ‘MAKE AMAZING’ campaign via TBWA\NZ
TBWA\NZ has launched a new campaign highlighting the incredible transformation that happens when you introduce the Anchor culinary range to your cooking.
Anchor cream, cream cheese and sour cream have been a mainstay of New Zealand fridges for generations. The MAKE AMAZING campaign reminds us of the near magical ability of these fresh ingredients to turn ‘meh’ into amazing.
Whether it’s taking your midweek mushroom pasta up a level with a generous pour of cream, whipping up some heavenly nachos with dollops of sour cream, or elevating the humble bagel to the stuff of dreams with lashings of cream cheese.
Says Lucy Bailey, group marketing manager, Fonterra Brands New Zealand: “This campaign really speaks to how our culinary range can effortlessly elevate the meals you’re already preparing. ‘Make Amazing’ is all about those simple, transformative moments in the kitchen that turn the everyday into something extraordinary, even on the busiest days.”
The new campaign, created by TBWA\NZ and brought to life by Sacha Stejko and IDC, features the magic, when home cooks introduce a bit of ‘amazing’ to their meal. Radio commercials were created at Franklin Road Studios, voiced by Rupert Degas, helmed by Shane Taipari and Jon Cooper
Says Shane Bradnick, CCO TBWA\NZ: “Anchor is about as iconic as a food brand can get in New Zealand. ‘Make amazing’ lets us showcase the Anchor culinary range, with a sense of humour that invites the casual home cook to give it a try.”
The campaign will appear on out of home, AV, radio, digital and social.

I was hoping this would make me feel something, but it’s as plain as the cream itself. It’s missing that iconic spark that Anchor is known for and feels like just another drop in an ocean of similar brands. Instead of standing out, these just blend in. A shame for such a legendary name. Sorry!
Honestly, tv commercials, and advertising generally, used to be fun, entertaining, respectful of the audience, and even sold stuff. We are in the dark ages again.
I don’t buy fonterra products, anchor, too expensive… Make products cheaper and save marketing $$$.
This aint.
Find wonderful, energy made wonderful…. Such hollow, nothing statements.
@creatives don’t listen to the oat milk drinking advertising elite above – this spot the cream look yum and therefore I’m keen to buy and use it
Is crap. Even I could have done better.
Loving the fresh tone from Anchor here!

Lazy Lurpak Extra-Lite.
As for the tagline – tired.
Cute 15 second spot. Don’t over cook it.
