GO Healthy appoints Mango Aotearoa as new public relations and social media agency
One of New Zealand’s No.1 supplement brands in pharmacies, GO Healthy has appointed Mango Communications as its agency across both its public relations and social media accounts, following two competitive pitches.
Mango’s strategic thinking, longstanding industry relationships, and integrated expertise impressed the GO Healthy team, with the agency set to deliver earned media and influencer engagement, events and social media strategy and content for the leading health and wellness brand.
Says Angela Appleton, global marketing manager, GO Healthy: “Mango’s history of delivering refreshing creative ideas and wealth of knowledge across public relations, social media and influencers really stood out to our team as we looked to onboard a partner at a key time for GO Healthy.
“We’re looking forward to working with the team as we roll out a fresh brand positioning and announcing a number of exciting new products over the coming months.”
Initially founded in 2008 by three Kiwi friends, today as part of Nestlé Health Science GO Healthy offers over 20 products designed to support a wide range of health and wellbeing needs.
Says Sean Brown, managing director, Mango Communications: “GO Healthy is an iconic New Zealand brand and many Kiwis will already be familiar with its products as a go-to for wellness needs.
“Our team is excited for a thriving and wholesome partnership as we share GO Healthy brand stories and continue to build on its existing success and growth.”
The partnership officially kicked off with the announcement of a new functional mushroom supplement range, with GO Healthy the first major brand to bring functional mushrooms to the mainstream.
The products were showcased at a media and influencer lunch event at Auckland’s Culprit restaurant, hosted by wellness personality Petra Bagust.
