Award-winning CD JP Twaalfhoven joins Special Wellington in the role of creative director
Special’s Wellington office has appointed JP Twaalfhoven as creative director after freelancing for the agency.
Twaalfhoven brings over a decade’s worth of experience to the team. Twaalfhoven started his career at Saatchi & Saatchi before joining Clemenger BBDO in 2015, where he was later promoted to creative director.
His work has claimed the Aotearoa Grand Axis three times, received multiple Purple Pins at Best Awards, and been recognised at international shows like Cannes, D&AD, and in the WARC 100.
Twaalfhoven’s portfolio includes internationally recognised projects Belted Survivors, The Conscious Crossing, Look Right, Look Left radio campaign, and being part of the team to deliver Unite against COVID-19. JP’s creativity extends outside of the realm of advertising, as the co-founder and co-designer of award-winning KYT Bags.
Special’s Wellington office has experienced a remarkable period of growth. It provides highcalibre clients in the capital with world-class creative, contributing to the wider success of the agency, which has offices in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, London, New York, and Los Angeles.
