PHD takes the win as Adland swings for good at the second annual UnLtd: Open golf tournament

PHD has taken home the trophy at the second annual UnLtd: Open golf tournament in Auckland. The event, kindly sponsored by oOh!media, saw over 60 people swing and putt for good at the beautiful Akarana Golf Club.

 

Golfers were treated to surprises, competitions and sponsor activations throughout the 18-hole course, ranging from drive-through drinks tasting to spin & win and polaroid picture competitions.

The event raised funds for UnLtd Aotearoa’s work supporting charities helping young people at risk, including the Graeme Dingle Foundation. As one of UnLtd’s charity partners, they put the cause at the heart of the day, speaking about the important mahi they do empowering, and equipping tamariki & rangatahi with the skills and confidence to thrive.

Says Nick Vile, general manager NZ at oOh!media: “We’re proud to support UnLtd and sponsor the Open. It was a stunner of a day supporting the important work UnLtd do to help charities grow while catching up with the industry over some healthy competition!”

The PHD team, consisting of Mark Kelliher, Jasper Shand, Ivan Atkins and Alex McNeill secured the win with Cartology and UnLtd All Stars teams in podium positions. Ivan Atkins, GM of Digital at PHD commented: “What a great day! It was fantastic to get together with everyone over a sport that so many of us love, and even better knowing it’s all for a good cause. There were some great golfers on the course so taking home the trophy is definitely an un-fore-gettable experience. We will be back next year to defend it.”

Says Sheryl Dunlop, general manager of UnLtd Aotearoa: “We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to swing for good, donated raffle prizes, and brought the all-round good vibes for the event.
