FCB Aotearoa promotes Tim Gavriel and Aaron Carbines to Associate Creative Directors

FCB Aotearoa has promoted creative duo Tim Gavriel and Aaron Carbines to Associate Creative Directors.
The pair first teamed up nearly a decade ago at DDB Aotearoa, kicking off a creative partnership that’s since taken them from Auckland to London and back.
After freelancing across the London circuit at top UK agencies including Brothers & Sisters, J. Walter Thompson and AnalogFolk, the pair joined Ogilvy UK as senior creatives, where they worked across major global brands including Samsung, Vodafone and F1. Highlights included a global B2B platform for Samsung, a multi-channel Vodafone campaign featuring an iPhone launch and lockdown podcast, and an F1 fan content series that drove over 40 million interactions and helped make F1 one of Ogilvy UK’s most awarded clients.
Since returning to New Zealand and joining FCB in 2021, Gavriel and Carbines have been behind some of the agency’s most memorable work, including Pak’n’Rave, The Adternship, Borrow the Brand, and Tux Puppy Pee Paper, which won NZME’s Imprint Competition. They also helped launch Mercury’s Bring the Buzz, and played key roles in road safety campaigns Survive the Drive and Don’t Let the Drugs Drive.
