Manja Wachsmuth Named in Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide 2025/26

Acclaimed New Zealand-based food photographer Manja Wachsmuth has once again been recognised among the world’s top advertising photographers, earning a coveted place in Lürzer’s Archive’s 200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide 2025/26.

This marks another career milestone for Wachsmuth, whose visual storytelling and meticulous approach continue to captivate audiences globally. Known for her detail-oriented yet grounded style, she brings a sense of purpose and care to every frame. Whether capturing the luxury of fine food or a brand’s story, her imagery transforms subjects into striking visuals that celebrate texture, light and form.

Among the featured work is photography from The Belonging Project, a series created with foodstylist Fiona Hugues, that explores food as a catalyst for shared moments and human connection.
Through abundant scenes of delicacies, on trend close-ups and dined-in tablescapes, the project explores how food, conversation, and community shape our sense of belonging.

As Wachsmuth describes: “The greatest pleasures in life are found through sharing wonderful food and drink with friends and loved ones. This is where we build connection through intimate conversation and ultimately discover where we truly belong.”

Originally from Denmark and now based in New Zealand, Wachsmuth has built a portfolio spanning commercial, editorial, and advertising campaigns across Australasia and beyond.

“Being included again in Lürzer’s Archive is an incredible honour,” says Wachsmuth. “It’s a privilege to see my work recognised alongside so many celebrated photographers shaping the visual language of advertising today.”

Lürzer’s Archive, a renowned international publication celebrating excellence in advertising and visual communication, curates its 200 Best Ad Photographers list biennially from thousands of entries worldwide. Inclusion is considered one of the industry’s highest distinctions.

With over 25 years behind the lens, Wachsmuth continues to evolve her craft while staying true to her belief that exceptional imagery begins and ends with deep attention to detail.
