This week’s guest judge is Robin Fitzgerald, Chief Creative Officer, BBDO Atlanta.

BEST TV
Winner: John Lewis ‘Where Love Lives‘. Seems like John Lewis usually focuses on a younger child in their iconic holiday ads, so it was refreshing to see this new take on the awkward teen years for families. I’m not sure why the dad and his son aren’t comfortable talking, but the song with a remix of two generations of artists helps bridge the gap and made me smile right along with them.

BEST OUTDOOR
Let’s hear it for the boys!
Winner: KidsCan ‘Boy Walking‘. What a simple premise and execution. Clothe a famous statue of a boy to encourage more people to donate clothing for boys and girls. It’s just that easy. And just that hard to actually make something like this happen.

Runner-up: Safer Boating NZ ‘Buoy-Boy‘ is one of the most helpful kids in the water. Sure he’s a buoy and not a real boy, but he’s saving real lives by pointing out dangers you might not be aware of in the water. That’s a good lad.
