TBWA\ named NZ Creative Agency of the Year at the 2025 Campaign Asia Pacific AOTY Awards
Campaign Asia-Pacific unveiled the New Zealand AOY 2025 winners at a live ceremony in Singapore on last night, December 9.
TBWA\New Zealand (pictured above) was named New Zealand Creative Agency of the Year, followed by Motion Sickness in second place with a Silver and Special in third place with a Bronze.
Says Catherine Harris, Chief Executive Officer, TBWA\New Zealand: “Winning Creative Agency of the Year for New Zealand is an incredible milestone – not because of one campaign or one moment, but because of the consistency of growth, performance and creative ambition across every corner of the agency.
“The crew have built something really special in TBWA\NZ, and we have a lot of momentum. Sustainable growth, an exceptional client roster, and work that keeps raising the bar and delivering category-leading business results. From our long-standing partnerships with ANZ, 2degrees, Southern Cross, Anchor, Auckland Transport, Noel Leeming and PlayStation to some of our newer partners like Tourism New Zealand, The Warehouse, Vitaco, Kraft Heinz, Carl’s Junior and Haier – we’ve proven again and again that Disruption works.
“I’m unbelievably proud of this team. Their hunger, talent and relentless drive to solve the real problems our clients face through disruptive creativity is what sets TBWA\NZ apart. And there is so much more to do.”
Motion Sickness Founder and ECD Sam Stuchbury took home two Golds for both AU/NZ Creative Leader & Agency Head titles, and Motion Sickness was awarded Gold for AU/NZ Boutique Agency of the Year, and Silver for both AU/NZ independent and NZ Creative Agency of the Year.
More highlights include DDB Group Aotearoa being named New Zealand Digital Innovation Agency of the Year for the tenth time (2015, 2016, 2018–2025) and Thompson Spencer taking out the Australia/New Zealand Social Media Agency of the Year title.
