Food Snob invites Kiwis to ‘Come for the sun, stay for the cheese’ in new work via Tuckshop Studio
Food Snob and Tuckshop Studio have released the next chapter of their creative platform ‘Snob What Matters’, inviting Kiwis directly into the heart of cheeseboards this season.
Unafraid to embrace the brand’s unique name, the platform playfully owns the ‘snob’ title while reframing it with the down-to-earth nature of your average Kiwi backyard gathering.
Launching part one last year, this new evolution asserts that good taste is worth being snobby about with mouth-watering food moments that place the audience in the middle of the cheese board at Christmas and over summer. Paired with playful lines the creative tempts the tastebuds and prioritises cheese over all.
The latest instalment of the brand story positions Food Snob as the essential centrepiece for any summer gathering, focusing on the irresistible nature of a well-crafted cheeseboard, with the power to turn a casual get-together into a party worth lingering at.
Says Nina Andrew, Marketing Manager at Foodsnob: “Summer in New Zealand is all about good food shared with good people, and this campaign captures that spirit beautifully. We’re excited to invite Kiwis into the heart of the cheeseboard and hero those delicious moments that make gatherings memorable”
Says Noumi O’Flaherty, Creative Director at Tuckshop Studio: “For year two of Snob What Matters, we wanted to get closer to the craving. We zoomed right in on those mouth-watering textures to visually disrupt the chaos of the festive season. It’s about celebrating that ‘snobbish’ desire for great taste, but grounding it in the relatable, christmas event or sunny vibe of a Kiwi summer.”
The campaign launched early November and will roll out across summer via TVNZOD, social media, digital display and OOH nationwide.
